“Don't leave things for later” (10 min.): Analysis with the audience.
How do these verses encourage us not to procrastinate?
Ecclesiastes 5:4
For example, many of us make the mistake of postponing goals that we have, such as getting baptized or after being baptized we promise that we will undertake the pioneer service and it takes us years to do it, but as we read, Jehovah sees these people as foolish.
It encourages us that when we make a vow to God we should not delay in fulfilling it because he does not like fools. That is why if we have promised something to Jehovah we must fulfill it.
This text encourages us to fulfill the things we have promised to do, because in the same way as we promise something to God, we must fulfill it, because he does not like less liars, because how do we know the father of lies is Satan .
Ecclesiastes 11:4
This text teaches us that if we only spend putting things off, we will never obtain results, since if we want to reap good fruits in the future, we must start working from now on.
This text encourages me not to let time pass without acting at the right time, because if we leave things for later without doing anything when we have the time, it will be too late to reap the fruits, that is, the culmination of our chores.
1 Corinthians 7:29-31
This text encourages us not to waste the distracting time that this world offers us, because if we do, we will not give due importance to the activities or things that we have to do and we will leave them to the last moment, since the priority will be to distract ourselves in instead of doing them.
We know that the world scene is changing, and that the end of this system of things is closer every day, so we must define our priorities well, since it would be a serious mistake to postpone spiritual things by trying to use this world to the full. .
This text can give us the help we need to remember what is most important, and thus not waste our valuable time.
James 4:13, 14
This text reminds us that our life is like a mist that is very short and can disappear at any moment, so we must take advantage of the present to make all our goals come true.
This text encourages us and does not remind us that an unforeseen event can come to us at any time, so we cannot say that we will do something later for sure, we do not know if that day we will be alive with the possibility of doing our things, that is why we do our things at the due time, and let's not leave for another day because we will not know if we will be in what capacity to carry them out.
