Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2022
Saturday November 26
Keep your own (1 Tim. 5:8).
Of course, one important way a head shows that he loves his family is by providing for his material needs. But he must never forget that the most important thing is that he attend to his spiritual needs (Matt. 5:3). While on the stake, Jesus wanted to make sure that Mary was well taken care of. Therefore, despite her intense suffering, he asked the apostle John to take care of her (John 19:26, 27). Household heads may also have several important responsibilities. They must be good workers so that their conduct speaks well of Jehovah (Eph. 6:5, 6; Titus 2:9, 10). And they may have responsibilities in the congregation, such as shepherding the brothers and being good examples in preaching. But it is also his responsibility to study the Bible regularly with his wife and his children. Their families will heartily appreciate everything they do to care for them physically, emotionally, and spiritually (Eph. 5:28, 29; 6:4). w21.01 12 pars. 15, 17.
What responsibilities did Juan have?
Juan had many responsibilities. Since he was an apostle, he had to set an example in preaching. And besides, it is possible that he was married. In such a case, he would have to take care of his family in a material but also spiritual sense (1 Cor. 9: 5). What can family heads learn from it?
Why is it important that cabezas attend to the spiritual needs of their families?
Household heads may also have several important responsibilities. For example, they must be good workers so that their conduct speaks well of Jehovah (Eph.
What was Juan convinced of?
Juan lived a long and exciting life. He faced all kinds of difficult situations that could have weakened his faith. But he always did his best to obey Jesus' commandments, including loving his brothers. Therefore, John was convinced that Jehovah and Jesus loved him and that they would give him the strength to overcome any obstacle (John 14:15-17; 15:10; 1 John 4:16). Neither Satan nor his world could do anything to stop John from showing his brothers his love for them through words and actions.
What does 1 John 4:7 encourage us to do, and why?
Like John, we live in a world dominated by Satan, who is full of hate (1 John 3:1, 10). He wants us to stop loving our brothers, but he can't get it unless we let him. Therefore, let us be determined to love our brothers, to express it with words and to demonstrate it with actions. Then we will feel the great joy of being part of Jehovah's family and we will have a truly happy life.—Read 1 John 4:7.
