APPLY YOURSELF TO THE FIELD MINISTRY: November 7-13, 2022, Answers from the Video of the First Conversation: Good News.
Video of the first conversation (5 mins.): Analysis with the audience. Play the video Conversation One: Good News (Ps 37:10, 11). Stop the video at each pause and ask the questions that appear in it.
Why can we say that the publisher asked good questions?
Because it shows that there was a good preparation beforehand, because as we saw in the video these questions were well thought out, direct and simple to guide the householder to the correct answer and that he in turn grasped the idea through his reasoning and his way of thinking. And in this way the householder was able to discern the questions that the publisher put to him.
ADDITIONAL COMMENT
We say it because when the housewife asked him if it was realistic to think that we would live in a world without wars or violence, the publisher linked the question to his introduction and with this aroused the person's interest and curiosity.
Because he did not limit himself to asking questions that had to be answered with a yes or a no, rather he asked questions that stimulated the person to reason and also the questions he asked aroused the person's interest.
Also because when the householder replies that "Living in a new world without wars or violence nobody believes it", The publisher continues with a series of questions to lead his people to reason and reach a correct conclusion.
We can also say so because with his well thought out questions he highlighted the important points of what he wanted to teach in this first conversation. She did this by asking a question to highlight the key idea after reading the Biblical text.
Lastly, we see that among his questions he includes an opinion question, for example, he told him, I can ask him why he thinks that way. In this way the householder felt taken into account in the conversation, while the publisher obtained important information about what his listener thought
What signs did he see that the person is interested in the topic?
One of the signs that I noticed was that the househusband not only limited himself to listening to what the brother was talking to him, but also participated in the conversation and another sign was that when he heard the text he made it clear that he also wanted some One day there will be no more violence in the world.
ADDITIONAL COMMENT
We can see that the person paid close attention. Also the person's participation showed that he wanted to know if what they were talking about would ever come true, and when the publisher asked the question if he liked to know some promises, his answer was yes.
Which teaching kit publication would you offer the person? How would she do it?
If we look at the presentation of our activity guide, well, two of these publications are shown there. They are two treatises, the first is How do you see the future? Personally, I like that treatise because it mentions the benefits that we will obtain from Jehovah's promises being fulfilled. For example, we could mention that just as the Bible speaks of the wicked cease to exist, there are other things that will also cease to exist. exist that cause us suffering, and under the sub-topic “What does this mean for us”, we can find this promise and we can compare them with the Bible.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Thanks be to Jehovah, our brothers in the governing body have now included a section in the “Let's Be Better Teachers” section, where we can find the right teaching kit tools for each topic we are dealing with. In this case we have two options the treaty How do you see the future? and the treatise Will we ever stop suffering?
In both cases, since we are dealing with the issue of violence in these times, we can tell the householders that we have a treaty with us which can help us understand the meaning of what is expected implies for us and analyze with them the section "What does this mean for us" of any brochure we have chosen.
We can do something similar to the video demo, saying that while we hope that this will come true, it's not entirely realistic for people to do so. And then we go on to show the treaty that we have selected and we say to the householder: Here it explains what God will do and then we can proceed to offer the pamphlet Enjoy.
If we go to the treaty, how do you see the future? we can tell the householder that he will be able to find the text we have just discussed in case he wants to replace it later with his own Bible and that in that treatise he will also find biblical reasons to believe that we will soon live in a world where all people will have a better future .
If we offer the treaty We will stop suffering, we can conclude by telling the householder that this treaty can help him deepen the information and consequently, he will be able to better understand how it is that we will stop suffering when Jehovah God Fulfills the promise of Psalms 37:10,11 that we have just analyzed.
