Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2022
Sunday September 25
Let's watch out for each other to motivate us to show love and do good deeds (Heb. 10:24).
In the meetings we learn to preach and teach better. For example, we are taught to skillfully use the teaching kit publications and videos. So let's prepare well for the meetings, listen carefully to what is said in them and then apply it. If we do all of this, each of us will be prepared for battle and will be a "good soldier of Christ Jesus" (2 Tim. 2:3). We also have the support of millions and millions of powerful angels. If we already know what a single angel can do, can we imagine what an entire army could do? (Isaiah 37:36). There is no man or demon that can be compared to Jehovah's mighty army. It was once said that even if we are alone, if Jehovah is with us, we will always be in the majority (Judges 6:16). What a great truth! Let us keep it in mind when we feel that our strength fails us because of something that a coworker or school colleague, or a non-Witness family member, says or does. Let us remember that we do not fight alone; we are under the orders of Jehovah. w21.03 29 paras. 13, 14.
According to Isaiah 54:15, 17, why can no one silence God's people?
The world, which is controlled by Satan, has many reasons to hate us. We are completely neutral and do not participate in wars. We make God's name known, we proclaim that only his Kingdom will bring peace, and we obey his just rules. We denounce that the ruler of this world is a liar and a ruthless murderer (John 8:44). And we announce that this system is about to be destroyed. But Satan and his people can never silence us. On the contrary, we will continue to praise Jehovah by any means possible. Although Satan is very powerful, he has not been able to prevent the Kingdom message from reaching people all over the world. The only explanation is that Jehovah is protecting us (read Isaiah 54:15, 17).
How will Jehovah save his people during the great tribulation?
What will happen in the future? During the great tribulation, Jehovah will save us in two impressive ways. First, he will save his loyal servants when he causes “the kings of the earth” to destroy Babylon the Great, the collection of all the false religions of the world (Rev. 17:16-18; 18:2, 4 ). And, second, he will save the people from him when he wipes out the rest of Satan's world at Armageddon (Rev. 7:9, 10; 16:14, 16).
Why should we stay close to Jehovah?
As long as we are close to Jehovah, Satan will not be able to do us any permanent harm. In fact, he is the one who is going to be destroyed forever (Rom. 16:20). So let's put on the full armor and never take it off. Let's not try to fight alone, let's support our brothers and follow Jehovah's orders. If we do, we can be sure that our loving heavenly Father will strengthen and protect us (Isa. 41:10).
