2Sa 22:36. How did Jehovah's humility make David great? (w12 11/15 17 ¶7)
It made David great because Jehovah's humanity had given him the courage and strength to do something in Israel and David, being humble, had let Jehovah use him to be of help in Israel in the same way when we receive a privilege of Jehovah in his organization we become great when we let Jehovah use us and we are great because we are of help both to the congregation and to our brothers.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
This quality of Jehovah made a deep impression on David. That is why he sang to her: "You will give me your shield of salvation, and your humility is what makes me great." The psalmist considered that whatever greatness he had in Israel was due to God being humble, condescending or condescending to pay attention to him. And our case is no different. After all, what quality, capacity or privilege do we have that we have not received from Jehovah? So why is it "great" who behaves like "one of the minors"? In part, because he becomes a more valuable servant of Jehovah. Let's reflect on this idea.
David considered that whatever greatness he had in Israel was because God was humble or deigned to pay attention to him. Likewise, every quality, capacity or privilege that we have is thanks to Jehovah, humility makes us valuable servants for him.
If David had not been chosen by Jehovah as the future king and then installed as such, we would never know of his existence. The psalmist considered that whatever greatness he had in Israel was due to the fact that God was humble, since he condescended or deigned to pay attention to him. So Jehovah's humility in choosing him as his representative on earth made his greatness as king of Israel known.
And our case is no different. After all, what quality, capacity or privilege do we have that we have not received from Jehovah? Then, why is someone who behaves like "one of the least" "great"? In part, because he becomes a Jehovah's most valuable servant. Any privilege we have is thanks to Jehovah's humility in choosing us to carry it out.
