APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: June 20-26, 2022. Revisit lesson. 18, assignment prepared.
Revisit (4 mins): Use the ideas to talk. Then invite the person to meetings (th lec. 18).
PUBLISHER: Good morning, good to find you at home, how are you?
HOUSEHOLDER: Well, everything is fine, nothing new, and you?
PUBLISHER: Thanks anyway, as I mentioned the last time we met, today I come to answer the question about what is the true cause of suffering, have you thought about that question?
HOUSEHOLDER: The truth is that yes, since I saw that God is not the cause.
PUBLISHER: It is true, as we saw last week, many think that it is God who causes suffering, but seeing that this is not the case, they are left with that question, why or for whom there is suffering, where can we find the answer? to that question?
HOUSEHOLDER: I believe in the Bible.
PUBLISHER: Well, what do you think if we review what 1 John 5:19 says, read it please.
HOUSEHOLDER: Sure, he says...
PUBLISHER: Thanks, according to what we just read, who is the ruler of the world?
HOUSEHOLDER: There it says that the world is under the power of the wicked, does it refer to Satan?
PUBLISHER: Exactly, he is the one who rules the world, for example, if a ruler is bad and instead of looking after the well-being of his people he mistreats them and instigates others to violence, how would you say the condition is in that nation?
HOUSEHOLDER: Well, it's a terrible condition.
PUBLISHER: So, seeing the current condition of the world, full of violence and evil, who would you say is the ruler, the Devil or God?
HOUSEHOLDER: Well, the answer would be the Devil.
PUBLISHER: Exactly, so God has nothing to do with the suffering of the world, rather, he cares about us and even gets sad when he sees all that, would you like to know what God feels when he sees us suffer?
HOUSEHOLDER: Sure.
PUBLISHER: Great, what do you think if I come back another day and like today, we see the answer that the Bible gives?
HOUSEHOLDER: Sounds good to me, I'll be waiting for you.
PUBLISHER: Taking advantage of this, I want to invite you to a meeting that we will have this weekend.
HOUSEHOLDER: Thank you, but does the entrance fee cost anything?
PUBLISHER: Of course not, admission is free and no collections are made, our goal is for people to benefit from what is taught in the Bible, and do you mind if I pick you up to go to the meeting together?
HOUSEHOLDER: Sure, I'm interested.
