Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2022

Make disciples of people from all nations. Baptize them (Matt. 28:19).

If we were the ones who gave Bible lessons to a newly baptized disciple, we feel very happy (1 Thess. 2:19, 20). New disciples are excellent “letters of recommendation” that speak well not only of their teacher, but of the entire congregation (2 Cor. 3:1-3). We are glad to see that for four years a monthly average of 10,000,000 Bible courses have been reported worldwide. And during that same period of time, an annual average of more than 280,000 people have been baptized. As we see, there are still several million students who could be baptized. How can we help them? Jehovah is patient and he is still giving people the opportunity to become Christ's disciples. Time is running out so we want to do everything in our power to help them progress as quickly as possible and get baptized (1 Cor. 7:29a; 1 Pet. 4:7). w20.10 6 paras. 1, 2

How should the teacher prepare for each Bible study session?

It is important that the teacher prepare well for each Bible study session. We can start by reading the information and looking for the texts. Let's identify the main points. Let's think about the title of the lesson, the subtitles, the questions, the “read” texts, the images and any videos that help us explain the topic. Then let's think about the student's circumstances and how we will explain the information to him in a clear and simple way so that he can understand it and apply it (Neh. 8: 8; Prov. 15: 28a).

According to Paul's words in Colossians 1:9, 10, what should we do for the student?

Talking to Jehovah about the student and his needs is also part of the preparation. Let us ask him to help us use the Bible in a way that reaches our hearts (read Colossians 1:9, 10). Let's think about whether there is something that is difficult for you to understand or accept. Let's not forget that our goal is to help you get to baptism.

How can we help the student prepare for classes?

We hope that regular Bible study will help the student to appreciate what Jehovah and Jesus have done and to want to learn more.—Matt. 5:3, 6. In order to get the most out of the classes, the student must concentrate on what he is learning. To do this, let's stress that it's important to prepare for each lesson by reading the information beforehand and thinking about how to put it into practice. We can help him by preparing a lesson with him to show him how it's done.* Let's teach him to look up the answer to the question and that marking a few words will help him remember the answer. Then ask him to answer in his own words. This way we will know if he has understood the information correctly. Let us see the third thing that the student must learn to do.
