Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2022

The Lord is faithful and he will strengthen you and protect you from the Evil One (2 Thess. 3:3).
On the last night of his life on earth, Jesus thought about the difficulties his disciples would have to face. Because he loved them, he asked his Father to protect them from the Evil One (John 17:14, 15). He knew that when he returned to heaven, Satan would continue to fight against anyone who wanted to serve Jehovah. It was clear that Jehovah's people would need protection. Now more than ever, we need Jehovah's protection. Satan has been expelled from heaven and is “full of fury” (Rev. 12:12). He has managed to convince some people that when they persecute us they are “performing God a sacred service” (John 16:2). Others, who do not believe in God, persecute us because we do not allow ourselves to be shaped by this world. In any case, we are not afraid. Why? The answer is in today's text. w21.03 26 paras. 1, 3
What else do we need, and why?
An experienced soldier knows that he cannot defeat an entire army by himself; he needs the help of his companions. Similarly, we cannot win the battle against Satan and his people on our own; we need the support of our brothers. Jehovah has given us a worldwide brotherhood that is there to help us (1 Pet. 2:17).
According to Hebrews 10:24, 25, how do meetings help us?
One way to receive the support of our brothers is by attending meetings (read Hebrews 10:24, 25). We all get discouraged from time to time. But isn't it true that going to meetings makes us feel better? The sincere comments of our brothers encourage us, and the demonstrations and Bible talks they present strengthen us to continue serving Jehovah. Also, the conversations we have with them before and after meetings recharge our batteries (1 Thess. 5:14). Meetings also give us the opportunity to help others, and that makes us happy (Acts 20:35; Rom. 1:11, 12). But that is not all. In them we learn to preach and teach better. For example, we are taught to skillfully use the teaching kit publications and videos. So let's prepare well for the meetings, let us listen carefully to what is said in them and then apply it. If we do all of this, each of us will be prepared for battle and will be a "good soldier of Christ Jesus" (2 Tim. 2:3).
What other help do we have?
We also have the support of millions and millions of powerful angels. If we already know what a single angel can do, can we imagine what an entire army could do? (Isaiah 37:36). There is no man or demon that can be compared to Jehovah's mighty army. It was once said that even if we are alone, if Jehovah is with us, we will always be in the majority (Judges 6:16). What a great truth! Let us keep it in mind when we feel that our strength fails us because of something that a coworker or school colleague, or a non-Witness family member, says or does. Let us remember that we do not fight alone; we are under the orders of Jehovah.
