“Tips for Practical Field Service Meetings” (10 min.): Discussion with the audience by the service superintendent. I asked for:

Why is it important to get to the field service meeting before it starts?

Preaching meetings have the same goal: to encourage us, instruct us, and organize us. It is important to arrive at the meeting for field service before it begins because these meetings are only attended by publishers who are going out to preach, not necessarily the entire congregation. However, that does not mean that they can be taken lightly or that they are less important than other meetings. 

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

These meetings are a gift from Jehovah that motivates us to show love to one another and to do good works. Hence, those who lead them must be well prepared so that the meeting honors Jehovah and is beneficial to those who attend. Until now, meetings for field service lasted between 10 and 15 minutes. At that time groups were organized, territories were assigned and a prayer was made. But now, these meetings will last between 5 and 7 minutes. And if they are done after another congregation meeting, they should last even less, since those who attend will already have had a good spiritual program. 

Shorter field service meetings will allow publishers to spend more time in the ministry. Also, for pioneers and publishers who have started preaching before the meeting it will only mean a brief interruption.

As we arrived early for the weekday and weekend meeting. Field service meetings are also a gift from Jehovah and an opportunity to build our faith with our brothers, spend time with them, and prepare well for the most important work in the world: “Bearing witness to Jehovah” is therefore important to be there. time to make the most of it.
