Let's Examine the Scriptures Every Day 2021

In this way everyone will know that you are my disciples: if you have love for one another (John 13:35).
Jesus said that people would know who his true disciples were if they showed the same love that he had shown them. His words were fulfilled in the first century and they are also fulfilled today. So it is very important that we show love to each other even when it is difficult to do so. Let us ask ourselves: "What can I learn from the brothers who have continued to show love even in the face of some obstacles?" Because we are imperfect, we sometimes have a hard time loving each other intensely. Still, we must strive to imitate the example of Christ. Jesus taught us that it is important to make peace with a brother who has something against us (Matt. 5:23, 24). He stressed that we must get along with others if we want to please God. Jehovah is happy to see that we do our best to be at peace with our brothers and sisters. He will not accept our service if we hold a grudge and refuse to even try to make amends (1 John 4:20). w20.03 24 pars. 1-4
What problem did a sister named Sarah have?
Some may be prejudiced, but may not know it. For example, a sister named Sarah believed that she was impartial because she did not judge people based on their race, economic status, or responsibilities in the organization. But he admits: "I began to notice that it was biased." In what sense? She comes from a family where everyone has gone to college, so she preferred to associate with people who also had higher education. Once, he even told a friend: "I only associate with brothers who have attended higher education and I avoid those who have not." Clearly Sarah had to change her attitude. As it did?
What do we learn from what Sarah did to change her attitude?
A circuit overseer helped Sarah examine her attitude. She recounts: “He congratulated me on my faithful service, my good comments, and my knowledge of the Bible. Then he told me that as our knowledge grows we must also cultivate Christian qualities such as humility, modesty and mercy. " Sarah took what the superintendent told her seriously. He says: "I realized that the most important thing is that we be kind and show love." Then, he began to see the brothers with different eyes. He explains: "I was trying to see in them the qualities that make them valuable to Jehovah." And we? We never want to feel superior because of the education we have received. If we have an intense “love for the whole brotherhood,” we will be impartial (1 Pet. 2:17).
