Consider that others are superior to you (Philippians 2: 3).

Many people this world considers wise scoff at what the Bible says about pride. They claim that thinking that others are superior will make us vulnerable and that people will take advantage of us. But what has been the result of the selfish attitude that Satan's world fosters? Are selfish people happy? Do they have happy families and true friends? Do they have a close friendship with God? What would you say produces better results: the wisdom of the world, or the wisdom of God's Word? (1 Cor. 3:19). Those who follow the advice of the "wise" of this world are like a tourist who asks another tourist who is as lost as he is how to get to a place. Regarding the “wise men” of his day, Jesus said: “Blind guides is what they are. Therefore, if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit ”(Matt. 15: 14). Without a doubt, the wisdom of the world is foolish to God. w19.05 24-25 pars. 14-16

What idea of marriage does the world promote?

The Bible tells a husband and wife to honor each other and fulfill their wedding vows. It also reminds them that they must have a deep sense of commitment. That is why it says: "A man will leave his father and mother, and he must cling to his wife, and they must become one flesh" (Gen. 2:24). Instead, those who follow the wisdom of the world promote a different idea and say that each should focus on their own needs. A book on the subject of divorce explains: "In some weddings, the traditional promise to stay together 'until death do us part' has been replaced by the more temporary promise 'until we stop loving each other.' This very superficial view of marriage has caused countless family breakdowns and deep emotional wounds. Definitely,

What is one reason that Jehovah detests the proud?

The Bible says, "Everyone who is proud in heart is detestable to Jehovah" (Prov. 16: 5). Why does Jehovah hate the proud? One reason is that those who believe themselves very important and promote that way of thinking reflect the arrogance of Satan. He is so proud that he came to believe that Jesus, who helped God create all things, should kneel down and worship him (Matt. 4: 8, 9; Col. 1:15, 16). The attitude of proud people confirms why God considers the wisdom of this world absurd.
