APLPLY YOUR SELFTO THE FIELD MINISTRY: October 25-31, 2021, First Conversation, Lesson .19 prepared assignment.

First Conversation (3 min.): Use ideas for discussion. Then invite the person to the meetings (th lec. 19).

PUBLISHER: Good morning, my name is Carlos, and yours?

HOUSEHOLDER: Jorge.

PUBLISHER: Nice to meet all the people in the area, asking a simple but important question, Is it possible that the Bible contains useful advice for today? What do you think?

HOUSEHOLDER: I think so, since it is the word of God.

PUBLISHER: Thank you very much for your response, in fact many people today believe that the Bible is out of date, but how would you react if you were shown that the Bible is still in effect?

HOUSEHOLDER: Well, they would change their opinion about the Bible.

PUBLISHER: That's right, for that I want to show you a text where it explains why the word of God is useful, here in 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 please read it.

HOUSEHOLDER: It says ...

PUBLISHER: Thanks for reading, as you could see, what is the Bible for?

HOUSEHOLDER: Teach, censure, rectify, even to educate in what is right.

PUBLISHER: So do you think the advice in this book would still be useful today?

HOUSEHOLDER: I think so.

PUBLISHER: Exactly, the Bible is useful to give practical advice, but because of this some people wonder if it is a trustworthy book, do you think if we see the answer to that question next time?

HOUSEKEEPER: Sure, that's fine with me.

PUBLISHER: Taking advantage of the occasion, this weekend we are going to have an online meeting in which the answer to a question that you may have asked yourself in a Bible conference will be given, I would like to invite you so that you can see what it is about.

HOUSEHOLDER: Thank you, but how are you going to have your meeting through the internet?

PUBLISHER: Don't worry, that's why I'm going to call you first to help you with all that, is that okay?

HOUSEHOLDER: Sure, I'll be waiting for your call.
