What do we learn from brothers Thomas Sullivan, George Gangas, Karl Klein, and Daniel Sydlik?

We learn that we must always remember the good example of the members of the governing body of now and those of the past, since when Paul wrote to the Hebrew Christians the end of the Jewish system was approaching, We also live very close to the end by that we must strive to imitate the faith of those who lead us, that will help us endure to the end, whether it be the end of our life or the end of this evil world.

ADDITIONAL

Something interesting that the speaking brother mentioned is that one way to remember and imitate the example of faith of the members of the governing body is to do what the brothers in the Jerusalem congregation did. In the case of the Bethel brothers they have the wonderful privilege of personally observing the faith and conduct of the brothers of the governing body and today Thanks to JW Broadcasting all of our brothers around the world can see them hear them speak about the word of God and observe their behavior.

We also have the biographies of those who have been part of the governing body these brothers served Jehovah faithfully for decades until they received their heavenly reward

Thomas sullivan

Brother Thomas Sullivan served faithfully in the governing body until his death in 1974. His biography published in The Watchtower of January 1, 1966, tells us what happened in the Madison Square Garden auditorium in June 1939. Brother Rutherford was giving a speech when a demonic mob interrupted him, finally some brothers falsely accused and arrested them, the same account "Brother Rutherford insisted on going to the police station immediately." Brother Thomas Sullivan had the privilege of riding with him on that occasion, traveling from Madison Square Garden to the police station to see the maddened fury of the mob and the restraining power of our God to preserve his people demonstrated. Brother Sullivan and the others had to fight their way through the crowd to be able to enter the police station and help the arrested brothers, and when they left they found the same mob again, some brothers managed to get into the car, but there were many people cutting off their He passed. Some people even tried to get into the car it looked like they were going to tear the doors off, so Brother Thomas Sullivan and others got on the running boards to prevent it. we will have to show that same value in the future.

George Gangas

Brother George Gangas former member of the Governing Body. His biography appeared in The Watchtower of April 1, 1967, this example will help us since at times we have felt unable to fulfill an assignment, Brother Gangas says that when he gave his first 6-minute speech he was so afraid that he almost did not He was able to finish it, but he struggled to overcome his fears and another thing we remember about him is how much he loved the meetings, because the brother constantly asked Jehovah to help him not to miss any meetings And by the time his biography was written he had been 45 years without missing any. and this is what he said: »For me meeting with the Brothers is one of the greatest pleasures in life and a source of encouragement, I love being in the kingdom hall among the first and being among the last if possible! ! »I feel an inner joy when he spoke with the people of God when I am among them I am at home with my family in a spiritual paradise. Brother George Gangas ended his life on earth in 1994 at the age of 98.

Karl Klein

Brother Karl Klein recounted that on one occasion Brother Rutherford scolded him and the next time they met Rutherford greeted him as if nothing, but Karl Klein responded reluctantly so Brother Rutherford told him to be careful, the devil who he wants to trap, Karl, ashamed, replied that nothing was wrong, but since he knew that Karl Klein was hurt he told him again to be careful since the devil what he wants is to trap. We must remember these words because they are based on the Bible, since if we held a grudge we would be giving the devil a chance and we do not want to do that. Brother Karl Klein ended his life on earth in January 2001 when he was 95 years old.

Daniel sydlik

The biography of brother Daniel Sydlik appeared in the Watchtower of June 1, 1985, in this biography it is remembered how he began his morning worship, since he almost always said with force and enthusiasm How good it is to be alive to serve the living God And true! Reading his biography we realize that brother Sydlik loved life, loved God's people and loved Jehovah, he wrote that the friendship he had with God gave him the strength to face difficult circumstances of life, he also said that meditating on the words of Psalm 33 always filled his heart with joy. About us!".Brother Daniel Sydlik ended his life on earth in April 2006 after serving at Bethel for almost 60 years.
