Wisdom is for protection the same as money is for protection; but the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom itself keeps its owners alive (Eccl. 7:12).
The first thing that attracts many people is the wise counsel of the Bible. In New York, a sister visiting those who speak Mandarin Chinese recounts: “I try to be interested in and listen to people. If I find out that they have just arrived in the country, I ask them questions such as how they are doing, if they have already found work and how they are being treated ”.
Sometimes this opens the door for you to have a Bible conversation. When appropriate, the sister adds, “What would you say is the key for all of us to get along?
May I show you a proverb from the Bible? He says: 'The principle of the contest is like someone who gives free flow to the waters; therefore, before the quarrel has broken out, withdraw. ' Do you think this advice can help us get along with others? " (Prov. 17:14). These types of conversations can help us know who will be happy to welcome us once again. w19.07 23 par. 13
According to Hebrews 11: 6, why do students need to have faith in God and the Bible, and how can we help them acquire it?
When we conduct Bible courses with non-religious people, we must continue to strengthen their faith that God exists (read Hebrews 11: 6). We also need to help them trust the Bible. To do this, it may be necessary to repeat certain teachings many times. In each study session, we may need to examine evidence that the Bible is the Word of God. For example, we can analyze some prophecies that have been fulfilled, the scientific and historical accuracy of the Bible or its wise advice.
What can we achieve if we love people?
When we show love to people, religious or not, we help them follow Christ (1 Cor. 13: 1). Our goal in teaching them the truth of the Bible is for them to understand that God loves us and wants us to love him. Every year, thousands of people are baptized who previously had little or no interest in religion but who have come to love God. So let's be positive and show sincere love and concern to all kinds of people. Let's listen to them and try to understand them. Let us teach them by our example to follow in the footsteps of Christ.
