Watchtower Study, “Article 15”, June 8-14, 2026, Nothing can prevent “the God of truth” from fulfilling his purpose, Answers.

“You have rescued me, O Jehovah, the God of truth” (Ps. 31:5).

1. According to Psalm 31:2-5, why can we trust in Jehovah?

As Psalm 31:2-5 says, we can fully trust Jehovah, because he is the God of truth. In this world, people often deceive, disappoint, or break their word, and that can make us distrustful.

But Jehovah never lies or acts with ulterior motives. Everything he does reflects truth, justice, and love. His promises never fail, and the Bible demonstrates time and again that he always fulfills what he says.

This makes us think about how reassuring it is to have a completely trustworthy Heavenly Father. Even when we face difficulties or don't understand a situation, we can feel peace because Jehovah will never betray us. In the congregation, we also learn to imitate the honesty and trustworthiness that so characterize our God.

2. What will we see in this article?

In this article, we will examine several reasons that strengthen our trust in Jehovah. We will analyze why we can place our lives and our future completely in his hands.

We will also see how he will soon act to destroy Satan and this entire system based on lies. Furthermore, we will see what Jehovah is already doing today through the worldwide preaching work to gather sincere people who love the truth.

This isn't just prophetic information; it has a very practical effect on our daily lives. It helps us stay courageous, balanced, and confident, even as the world becomes increasingly confusing and divided.

He also encourages us to speak the truth without fear, because we know that Jehovah is directing everything and that his purpose will be fulfilled exactly as he has promised.

REASONS TO TRUST IN THE GOD OF TRUTH

3. Why can we trust Jehovah completely?

We can trust Jehovah completely, because he is the Creator of everything that exists. Genesis 1:1 and Revelation 4:11 show that everything was made by his power and wisdom.

Jehovah not only created the earth, but he perfectly prepared it to sustain human life forever. This shows that he has absolute control over his creation and that nothing can thwart his purposes.

Furthermore, Psalm 36:9 says that he is the source of life. This makes us feel that our future is in the best possible hands. When financial problems, illness, or uncertain situations arise, remembering Jehovah’s immense power gives us peace of mind. In the congregation, we also see how Jehovah continues to care for and sustain his people.

4. How do we know that Jehovah loves us?

We know that Jehovah loves us because everything he has done for mankind reflects love and generosity. Genesis 1:26 shows that he created us in his image, giving us beautiful qualities such as love, justice, and the ability to reason.

Furthermore, he gave us freedom of choice and prepared the earth as a wonderful home to enjoy life. Jehovah wanted Adam and Eve to be happy and to spread Paradise throughout the earth.

Psalm 103:17 also highlights that his loyal love lasts forever. This makes us realize that Jehovah has never stopped caring about us, not even after sin entered mankind.

In daily life, feeling that love helps us endure trials and stay close to Him. How comforting it is to know that we serve a God who truly loves us!

5. a) How did Jehovah keep his word even though Adam and Eve sinned?

Although Adam and Eve sinned, Jehovah still fulfilled his purpose for the earth. Isaiah 45:18 shows that he created the earth to be inhabited by righteous and happy people, and nothing could prevent that from happening.

Instead of abandoning mankind, Jehovah allowed Adam and Eve to have children and prepared the ransom through Jesus Christ, as John 3:16 indicates. This shows that Jehovah never improvises or fails. When a problem arises, he always has the ability to fulfill what he promises.

This helps us to realize that even though we sometimes make mistakes or go through difficult times, Jehovah still has a loving purpose for those who love him. Furthermore, in the congregation we learn that no situation is too complicated for Jehovah.

5. b) What are some promises that Jehovah has kept? (See the box “Jehovah Is Faithful to His Word”).

Jehovah has shown many times that he always keeps his promises. For example, he kept his word when he led the Israelites to a bountiful land, just as he had promised Moses.

He also sent the Messiah exactly as he had announced centuries before through the prophets. And today we see another promise being fulfilled before our eyes: the worldwide preaching of the good news mentioned in Matthew 24:14.

All of this confirms that Jehovah never fails. This leads us to believe that future promises will also be fulfilled without fail, including the new world. Sometimes the wait may seem long, but Jehovah is never late.

In our congregation, we see how these prophecies strengthen our faith and help us to persevere with patience. How wonderful it is to serve a God whose word is always completely trustworthy!

The God of Truth makes sure His purpose is fulfilled.

6. What did Jehovah foretell after the rebellion in Eden?

After the rebellion in Eden, Jehovah foretold that Satan would be destroyed. Genesis 3:15 contains the first biblical prophecy and assures that there would be enmity between the followers of God and those of Satan, but that ultimately the promised offspring would crush the serpent.

Revelation 12:9 clearly identifies Satan as the original serpent. Although he has deceived millions, Jehovah made it clear from the beginning that his end was predetermined. This leads us to believe that evil will never have the last word.

At times it may seem that wicked people prosper or that the world is out of control, but Jehovah has already determined the final outcome. In the congregation, this assurance helps us to remain loyal and calm, knowing that Jehovah will soon eliminate all wickedness forever.

ADDITIONAL COMMENT

Jehovah foretold immediately after the rebellion in Eden that Satan would be destroyed. Genesis 3:15 showed that there would be a struggle between God’s followers and Satan’s followers, but that ultimately the promised offspring would defeat the Devil. This gives us great peace of mind, because it demonstrates that Jehovah has always been in control and that evil will not last forever.

7. Who follows the Devil, and what awaits them?

Both rebellious angels and people who oppose Jehovah’s purpose follow Satan. Romans 16:20 and Daniel 2:44 show that Jehovah has already set the time when he will destroy Satan and all who support his system.

Although today the world may seem dominated by injustice, violence, and lies, the Bible makes it clear that this situation is temporary. This leads us to believe that we should not feel envy or fear for those who live far from Jehovah.

Very soon all human structures that defy God will disappear. In the congregation, this hope helps us to remain neutral and focused on spiritual things.

8. What did Jesus do in 1914? (See also the pictures).

As Revelation 12:7-9 explains, in 1914 Jehovah appointed Jesus as King, and he began to fight against Satan and his demons, expelling them from heaven. Since then, the world situation has worsened considerably: wars, violence, famine, pollution, disease, and social division.

All of this confirms the words of Revelation 12:12, which says that Satan came down to earth in a rage because he knows his time is short. But this prophecy also gives us hope, because it shows that the Kingdom of God is already reigning.

This leads us to believe that world events are not signs that Jehovah has lost control, but rather evidence that prophecies are being fulfilled. This strengthens our confidence and encourages us to continue patiently waiting for Jesus’ complete victory over Satan.

Since 1914, the world situation has worsened. (See paragraph 8).

The God of Truth gathers those who love the truth.

9. Whom is Jehovah gathering today?

Today Jehovah is gathering together “the things in the heavens and the things on the earth,” as Ephesians 1:10 says. He is preparing both the anointed ones who will rule with Christ and the great crowd who will live on the paradise earth.

The beautiful thing is that they all work together in the same true worship. Furthermore, through their conduct and their preaching, they clearly show that Satan is a liar. This makes us reflect on the enormous privilege we have of being part of Jehovah’s people.

In such a divided world, Jehovah has created a worldwide brotherhood united by truth and love. In the congregation, we see very different people serving together in peace, something the world cannot achieve.

10. What is Jehovah doing to free people from religious lies? (Revelation 14:6, 7)

Jehovah is freeing people from religious lies by means of the greatest preaching campaign in history. Revelation 14:6, 7 shows that even angels are involved in supporting this worldwide work.

Thanks to the preaching work, millions have learned the truth about Jehovah and have come out of Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion. This makes us realize the immense value of our ministry.

We may think that our small part doesn't make a big difference, but Jehovah is using this work to save lives and gather sincere people together.

In our congregation, we continually see examples of people who are completely transformed upon learning the truth. How exciting it is to know that we are working directly with Jehovah and the angels in a work that will soon culminate in the complete elimination of false religion!

11. How can we identify Jehovah's true servants?

We can identify Jehovah’s true servants by their conduct and by the unity that exists among them. Revelation 7:9, 10 shows that people of all cultures and nations worship Jehovah together in harmony.

Furthermore, Malachi 3:18 explains that the difference between those who serve God and those who do not is becoming increasingly clear. Jehovah’s servants not only speak of love and truth; they also strive to live by those principles every day.

This makes us reflect on the importance of our conduct supporting what we preach, since newcomers are often impressed by the genuine love and unity among the brothers and sisters. This clear difference demonstrates that Jehovah is guiding his people.

12. How does preaching contribute to the fulfillment of Jehovah's purpose?

When we preach the good news of the Kingdom, we share directly in the fulfillment of Jehovah’s purpose. Matthew 24:14 and Matthew 28:18-20 show that Jesus commanded that the message be taken to people of all nations before the end.

Thanks to that work, millions of people have come to know the truth and have hope for the future. This makes us reflect on the enormous value of our ministry, even though it may sometimes seem simple or routine. Every conversation, every return visit, and every Bible study can help someone draw closer to Jehovah.

In the congregation, seeing sincere people progress spiritually fills us with joy and strengthens our faith. What a great privilege it is to cooperate with Jehovah in a worldwide work that is preparing people for the new world and demonstrating that his purpose will be fulfilled without fail!

LET'S LOOK TO THE FUTURE WITH CONFIDENCE

13. Who are Satan's primary targets, and why?

Satan is especially furious against the anointed and those who support them because he knows his time is short. Revelation 12:17 shows that he directs his attacks against those who obey God's commandments and bear witness about Jesus.

This explains why Jehovah’s people face opposition and constant spiritual attacks. However, far from discouraging us, this situation confirms that we are on the right side.

This helps us understand that the difficulties we face as Christians do not mean that Jehovah has abandoned us. Rather, they are part of the spiritual battle that the Bible foretold. In the congregation, the support and encouragement we receive from our brothers and sisters greatly help us to remain strong and united.

14. What will happen after Satan attacks God's people? (See also the picture.)

After the destruction of Babylon the Great, God's enemies will attack Jehovah's people, and then Armageddon will begin.

Revelation 19:19-21 shows that Jesus and the heavenly army will defend God's servants and completely destroy Satan's system. Ultimately, the wicked, lies, and all injustice will disappear.

This leads us to believe that Jehovah never abandons those who remain faithful. Although the future may include difficult times, we have no reason to live in fear, because Jesus himself will fight for his people.

In the congregation, this hope strengthens our courage and helps us to remain focused on spiritual things. What peace it brings to know that the end of this system will not be a tragedy for Jehovah’s servants, but the beginning of a completely new and righteous life!

15. Why can we look to the future with confidence? (Isaiah 65:16, 17; see also the picture.)

We can look to the future with confidence, because Jehovah is uniting and blessing his people, even in an increasingly divided world. Isaiah 65:16, 17 promises a new world where today's problems will not even be remembered.

Furthermore, Romans 8:38, 39 assures us that nothing can separate us from God’s love. This means that, no matter what happens in this system, Jehovah will never stop caring for his faithful servants. This makes us realize that we should not allow negative news or uncertainty to steal our peace.

In our congregation, we already enjoy a foretaste of that future unity and happiness. How exciting it is to imagine life in the new world, free from suffering and enjoying Jehovah’s friendship and love forever!

ADDITIONAL COMMENT

We can look to the future with confidence, because Jehovah never abandons his people and because his promises are always fulfilled. Isaiah 65:16, 17 guarantees that a new world will come where we will no longer remember our present problems. Furthermore, Romans 8:38, 39 assures us that nothing can separate us from God’s love. Knowing this fills us with peace and hope, even in difficult times.

In the new world, the problems of today will not be remembered. (See paragraph 15).

16. Why do you trust in Jehovah with all your heart?

We have countless reasons to trust in Jehovah with all our heart. He is our Creator, he loves us deeply, and he always keeps his promises. Moreover, he is gathering sincere people from all nations today and guiding his united people in pure worship.

Isaiah 60:22 and Zechariah 8:23 show how Jehovah would continue to increase his people, and this is clearly being fulfilled in our day. We also know that he will soon put an end to Satan and all his lies. This helps us to know that we are never alone or helpless.

In the congregation we constantly see evidence of Jehovah’s care and blessing. Like David in Psalm 72:18, 19, we too feel the desire to praise Jehovah for all the wonderful things he has done, is doing, and will continue to do for the benefit of faithful mankind.

WHAT WOULD YOU ANSWER?

Why can we trust “the God of truth”?

We can trust Jehovah because he never lies, he always keeps his promises, and everything he does reflects love, truth, and justice. Bible history shows that he has never failed.

What will Jehovah do to destroy Satan and his world, and what is he doing today to accomplish his purpose?

Jehovah will use Jesus and the heavenly army to destroy Satan, eliminate this wicked system, and bring in a new world filled with peace and justice.

Why can we look to the future with confidence?

We can look to the future with confidence because Jehovah is already guiding and protecting his people. We know that very soon he will fulfill all his promises and end suffering forever.
