OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE 2022, November 7-13, Video, Thank you for having the habit of giving, Analysis and Answers.

“Be in the habit of giving” (15 mins.): Discussion with the audience by an elder. Play the video Thank you for having the habit of giving. Mention concrete ways in which the congregation is being generous and commend them.

AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEO THANK YOU FOR HAVING THE HABIT OF GIVING, ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

In what ways are the donations made to help our brothers used?

Our donations, thanks to Jehovah, have a utility that comforts our hearts, because part of it is used to prepare the videos that are part of our spiritual food as well as they are not helpful to prepare our Bible courses such as our presentations in The preaching.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Also to cover the basic needs of our Bethelite brothers, special servants and missionaries.

Another utility that our donations have, is that parts of them are used for the construction of branches that are in charge of seeing the needs of the work, Thanks to Jehovah our brothers who serve full time, They have an environment where they can be aware of the needs of our work.

In addition, when our brothers are affected by natural disasters, they sometimes lose their homes, that is why our donation serves to help them have a safe roof where they can cover themselves, and thanks to the brothers of Socorro, our brothers do not have to go through anguish. How grateful we should feel knowing that whether we contribute a little or a lot, our donations are of great help to our brothers.

For example, it is used to provide us with all the spiritual food that we currently have, such as the videos. Also, thanks to donations, more and more branches can be made in which many brothers serve.

Also due to the donations, it is possible to help the brothers who are affected by a natural disaster.

Whether we have a lot or a little, why should we not lose the habit of giving? (Read the article “Those Who Have More Help Those Who Have Less” on jw.org.)

Because this is a global work, and as such it needs everyone's support, since even if it is little or a lot what we contribute, since our donations are balanced to be able to help more brothers from different congregations. That way we all have the privilege of helping each other.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Even if we have a lot of little, we should not lose the habit of giving, because Jehovah's Witnesses carry out religious and humanitarian activities in more than 200 countries, but only 35 of them receive enough donations from local brothers to cover their own expenses. So the Governing Body applies the Biblical principle of Second Corinthians 8:14 with which a balance is sought since what is left over by some compensates with what is lacking in others.

We must not lose the habit of giving because as Luke 6:38 says, generosity is contagious, consequently the more generous we are, the more we will be encouraging other brothers to do the same with our example.

In addition, Jehovah notices those who generously help the rest of the brothers and promises to reward them as shown in Proverbs 19:17.

Because Jehovah always values it very much and is also part of our Worship, and without a doubt honors our Heavenly Father, and also as the brother mentions at the beginning of the video, generosity is contagious.
